Create Shapes and Fills

Create a Shape

Create a shape by clicking on the Shapes icon and selecting one of the available shapes.

Resize a Shape

To resize a shape, click on it until it is surrounded by tiny squares. Select one of the squares and drag.

Move and/or Rotate a Shape

• To move a shape, click on it until it is surrounded by tiny squares, and click in its middle, then drag it.

• To rotate a shape, click on it until arrows surround its corners, then click on one of the arrows and rotate.

Create a Fill

Click on a shape, and then select the Fill Tool Drop-down menu . Choose from the following fills:

• Fill Colour Dialogue to edit the colour palette

• Fountain Fill, to mix two or more colours

• Pattern Fill to use a pre-made pattern or to create our own.

• Texture Fill to include a texture or to create your own.

• Postscript Fill Dialogue to insert a Postscript fill (shapes and pictures).
